Expressing about bikes

"How does it feel to ride a bike?"

One of the common questions, as my team when I mounted our manual bikes. It is a surging adrenaline rush every time we slowly release the clutch and pump some gas; It is not easy, but if you do know how the basics of riding a bicycle then you'll be fine. It is an endless multitasking of how to properly and safely keep that engine running, and that is fun. For me. I feel fear yes, but that feeling mix with adrenaline releases a lot of emotion out of me. Which is the exciting part.

That was a monologue from me on how I started riding,  the feeling and crashes that makes you feel like a human. That what makes me ride motorcycles, it's not all about fun, wining or loosing. But endless learning about how to feel things, makes you remind that you are a human.

First Training

It was the year, June of 2024 (Last year)

But first, how did we come up riding these machines? Before the month of June, which is around May of 2024. We are a group of ladies who came in Bacnotan, La Union; We are there just to Camp and watch the male riders get ready for their races. We, the ladies who just knew each other had a little chat about off-road bikes and about races. And joked around of joining and competing with the other lady riders in that race....

Month of June came. And here we are, under a bridge. A bridge connecting two towns of Asingan and St. Maria. A track created from the last race, on our gears and learning how to properly run this manual engine. We never knew that we would be taking those jokes from that small chat in Bacnotan seriously. But here we are, crashing from here and there.

Personally...

For me, riding may be dangerous and can cause major physical health. With proper and careful execution, prioritizing safety than ego. It can freely express suppressed emotion, it is about freely doing whatever you want, expressing freedom and appreciation to everything that surrounds us.

It has taught me to be brave, accept defeat, and to stand up once again. It humbled me and also made me appreciate nature, riding is not about ride to risk your life. It's ride to appreciate every life.
